LUDLOW, Mass., 6/9/10 -The Pioneers have a busy weekend, finding themselves travelling to Long Island this Saturday, and returning home to face Westchester on Sunday at 5:00.
The Pioneers face a challenge Saturday against old foes Long Island. The Rough Riders are currently second in the division, with 11 points from 3 wins, 0 losses, and 2 ties. The Rough Riders are undefeated at home, with a 2-1-1 record. They have scored 8 goals at home, while only allowing 2. The Pioneers, sitting in third place with a 2-2-2 record, would like to tie Long Island on points with a win. The last time these teams matched up was in 2006.
The Pioneers will host the Westchester Flames this Sunday, 5:00, at Lusitano Stadium. Westchester currently holds a 0-2-4 record. The Pioneers would like to gain their first home win of the season, going 0-1-1. The last time the Pioneers played the Flames was in 2004.
