Harrisburg City Islanders Take On Riverhounds

Harrisburg seeks to find some footing this coming weekend on City Island.
This Friday, June 11 the City Islanders (1-5-3, 6 points) take on the Pittsburgh Riverhounds (1-3-4, 7 points) at Skyline Sports Complex on City Island in the first meeting of these teams this season.
The Islanders are coming off a Southern road trip where they faced the Charleston Battery (6-2-3, 21 points) and the Charlotte Eagles (4-3-2, 14 points) this past weekend. Although Harrisburg had numerous opportunities, they tied in the game against the Battery 1-1 on Friday and dropped the game against the Eagles 2-1 on Saturday. Likewise, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds are coming off a 0-0 draw against the Maryland Monarchs (2-3-5, 11 points) furthering their search for another successful result.
The Riverhounds look to finally capitalize on opportunities. Pittsburgh has been sitting on the edge of success in their games with all their losses only by one goal. The Islanders on the other hand have been steadily progressing over the season, getting their first-win over first-place Charleston late May and challenging for another result in recent games.

The City Islanders take the field to face the Pittsburgh Riverhounds this Friday, June 11 at Skyline Sports Complex on City Island. Kick-off is at 7pm. The Harrisburg Senators have a game at Metro Bank Park on City Island at 7pm so make sure you plan to come early (gates open at 5:30pm), the Island will be the place to be! The Senators charge a parking fee on the Island.
