The 2010 Eagles Soccer Camp season is coming up and the coaches for each camp have been announced. At the first Elite Camp (June 14-18 at Calvary Church), Patrick Daka will be coaching dribbling moves, Ben Page is in charge of finishing, and Corbin Waller is teaching goalkeeping. At the second Elite Camp (July 19-23), Chris Lemons will share his dribbling expertise, Steve Shak will coach finishing, and Erik Lefebvre will give advice to goalies.
Patrick Daka, Eagles' Assistant Coach, is a former standout forward for the Charlotte Eagles for 6 seasons. Before he joined the club, he also played with teams in the highest division of soccer in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Germany. He is currently the director and trainer of the Charlotte Eagle Youth Academy.
Ben Page is in his third season with the Eagles after starting his career with the Eagles' affiliate, Southern California Seahorses. Ben has already notched a goal in this year's campaign with more sure to come.
Corbin Waller is in his 2nd season with the Eagles. After a successful career with the College of Charleston. Corban was drafted to the Houston Dynamo of MLS. After a year with Houston Corban moved to Charlotte to play with the Eagles.
Chris Lemons has experience in MLS while on loan with the Colorado Rapids. He also had a successful stint with the Carolina Railhawks, of the USL 1st Division. Lemons is known for his smooth dribbling and amazing technical ball skills.
Steve Shak played 3 seasons in MLS with the New York MetroStars (currently New York Red Bulls) and the Colorado Rapids after being the 1st overall draft pick in 2000. Shak also played for the US U-23 team. He has been an assistant coach for the Eagles since 2007.
