RBC Partners in Education Program Visits 18 Schools in 2014/15 Season

(Peterborough, ON)- The Peterborough Petes are proud to announce that 18 schools and 3,652 local students participated in the 2014/15 RBC Partners in Education program. Today's visit to Millbrook South Cavan Public School marked the final visit of the season.

The RBC Partners in Education Program, also sponsored by Tim Horton's and the Peterborough Rotary Club, featured presentations by Peterborough Petes players, the Canadian Mental Health Association's Kids on the Block, Peterborough Northumberland Crime Stoppers, and the Peterborough County City Health Unit.

The program kicked off for the 2014/15 season on October 22, 2014 at North Shore Public School in Keene, and will officially wrap up with the RBC Skate with the Petes on Tuesday, March 17 from 12-1pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. This free March Break event is open to the public, and will be followed by a Kids on the Block presentation. Skates are required, and helmets are strongly recommended.
