Sarnia Sting News Release
With only 10 games remaining in the OHL regular season for the Sarnia Sting, each point becomes more and more valuable. The Sting are currently 7th in the Western Conference, 6 points up on the Saginaw Spirit who sit in 8th place for the time being.
Sarnia is just 6 points back of Owen Sound for 6th and 7 points back of the Kitchener Rangers for 5th in the Conference. With 3 games on the docket this weekend, the Sting will need to gather 6 of a possible 6 points in order to put pressure on the teams ahead of them in the standings.
After being injury-riddled for the better part of 3 months, the Sting are once again healthy. This bodes well for the club as the final 10 games of the regular season are certainly valuable ones.
The weekend starts on Thursday night as the Sting travel to Plymouth for game one of a home-and-home between the two clubs. Sonny Milano and the Plymouth Whalers will visit the RBC Centre on Friday night for the last time this season. On Sunday, the Sting travel to Windsor to take on the Spitfires. Puck drop on Sunday is set for 2:05 PM.
