
Rays Make Changes to Montgomery Roster

Montgomery Biscuits News Release
The Tampa Bay Rays have made the following moves affecting the roster of Double-A Montgomery prior to Tuesday's game with Carolina:
RHP Paul Phillips promoted to Durham (AAA)...RHP Jose Mejias received from Charlotte (A+)...RHP Angel Castro received from Charlotte (A+)...OF Pedro Powell returned from Charlotte (A+) [24 + 2]
The moves return the Biscuits to the Southern League maximum of 24 active players. Two players (RHP Neal Frontz, LHP Darin Downs) are currently on the Disabled List.
