Lookouts Take Series with Rain-Shortened Win

Jacksonville, Fla. - Chris Withrow dealt five scoreless innings while Gaby Martinez and Trayvon Robinson knocked in runs to lead the Chattanooga Lookouts (64-70, 34-31) t o a 2-0, six-inning, rain-shortened victory over the Jacksonville Suns (77-58, 42-23) Tuesday night at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

Withrow (2-2) picked up the victory, giving up two hits over five scoreless innings with three walks and eight strikeouts. Elih Villanueva (0-1) fell in the loss in his Jacksonville debut, allowing two runs and eight hits over five innings of work.

Chattanooga opened the scoring in the first inning when Gaby Martinez drove in Andrew Lambo with a two out single for a 1-0 score. The Lookouts extended the lead in the second inning as Trayvon Robinson singled home Juan Gonzalez with two out for a 2-0 lead.

Rain stopped play after the sixth inning, and the game was called after a delay of nearly two hours.
