July 21, 2015 - California League (CalL1)
Visalia Rawhide News Release
Does it feel like the Rawhide have been gone a lot lately? Well, they have. BUT...good news! They're back this Thursday, and they'll be home for 14 of the next 18 days, so there's TONS of fun times coming up at Rawhide Ballpark! The Modesto Nuts (Rockies) will be here for 4 games, and then the San Jose Giants (Giants) arrive for 3.
It kicks off on Thursday, July 23rd with a 7:00 game; it'll be a Thirsty Thursday with Valley-Wide Beverage, with $1 Coors & Miller Lite drafts from 6-8 PM. It's also be Jock Jams night; wear a sports team jersey of any kind, and get a free Pasture ticket! It's also National Hot Dog Day, so hot dogs will be discounted to $2!
Friday, July 24th will be a Fun-Filled Friday, and it'll also be Firefighter Night! A charity softball game will proceed the Rawhide contest at 7:00. The Rawhide will wear special Fire Fighter-themed jerseys, which will be auctioned off for charity during the game.
Since there was rain and wind on the first Girls' Night Out back in May, we're having another one on Saturday, July 25th! Ladies will be pampered with various booths of awesomeness throughout the ballpark. Milan Institute will be handing out coupons at both games, and you'll also receive a passport, and if you fill it out by visiting all the booths, you'll be entered into a raffle to win tons of great prizes, including two round-trip flights from SeaPort Airlines and the Visalia Municipal Airport! It's also an All-American Saturday with Sequoia Beverage, so bring your boot mugs for discounted beverages, and military members receive a half-priced ticket by showing their military ID! First pitch is at 7:00.
Sunday, July 26th is a 6:00 start, and it's Tulare Night sponsored by Amtrak! We're celebrating Tulare by offering a free Pasture ticket to anyone with a Tulare ID! One lucky fan at the game will receive a free trip for 2 to San Diego (which includes round-trip train fare and tickets to a San Diego Padres game) courtesy of Amtrak! It's also a Family Fun Sunday with KJUG, where Kids Club members get to run the bases after the game.
With the San Jose Giants' arrival on Monday, July 27th, we're greeting them with garlic fries in the concessions stands, and a Make a Difference Monday with Fresno Pacific University. This Monday, we'll be benefiting Family Services of Tulare County, and if you donate a school supply item (worth $5 or more), we'll give you a free Pasture ticket! Gametime is at 7:00.
Tuesday, July 28th sees a 7:00 game; it's a Two-fer Tuesday with Chevron-Texaco, so head to your local Chevron-Texaco station for your 2-for-1 ticket voucher.
The homestand concludes on Wednesday, July 29th at 7:00 with a Win-Win Wednesday, where if the Rawhide win, you do too! A victory means you can redeem your ticket for a freebie to our next Wednesday home game!
Then, the Rawhide go on the road for 4 days...and are right back home for 7 more! Get your tickets at RawhideBaseball.com, over the phone at 732-HIDE, or in person at the ticket window along Giddings Street! Roll 'Hide!
