Winston-Salem Dash News Release
The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- INF Rangel Ravelo (left thumb laceration) placed on seven-day disabled list
- INF/C Brent Tanner promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis
Ravelo left last night's game in the third inning. He is 4-for-5 with the Dash thus far this season, and he scored a career-high three runs during Friday's blowout win over Salem.
Tanner was sent down to Kannapolis on Thursday after hitting .417 in eight games with the Dash. In two starts with the Intimidators, the former South Alabama Jaguar went 3-for-8 with a home run, a double and three RBIs.
