Rascals to Host IBA All-Star Game

O'Fallon, Mo. - The River City Rascals, presented by Signature Medical Group, have partnered with the International Baseball Association Tournament to bring their 15U All-Star Game to T.R. Hughes Ballpark on Thursday, August 9th.

The International Baseball Association, in conjunction with the St. Louis Boys Baseball Association, the Ballwin Athletic Association, and the City of Ballwin, are holding a 15U tournament from August 4 - 11 at the Ballwin Athletic Fields that include more than 300 youth players from Japan, Australia, Germany, and the St. Louis region. The teams from St. Louis are host families for the players from the other countries. During this tournament friendships are forged, cultures exchanged and experiences with our visitors will never be forgotten.

Select players from each participating team will be chosen to represent one of two all-star teams that will play an exhibition game Thursday, August 9thwith first pitch set for 4:00. The River City Rascals face the Schaumburg Boomers at 7:05 that night.

For the double header, the Rascals will offer all tickets at T.R. Hughes Ballpark that night on a first-come, first-served basis for just five dollars. The double-header also falls on a Thirsty Thursday where the Rascals feature dollar draft beers and fountain drinks throughout the two games.

The gates will open at 3:00 for the International Baseball Association Tournament 15U All-Star Game that begins at 4:00 and tickets will be good for the Frontier League matchup as River City hosts Schaumburg at 7:05.
