Nick Kennedy shut down the Rippers for 1 1/3 innings before Dustin Umberger finished the eighth inning and retired the side in order in the ninth for his second save in as many games.
Sheng-An Kuo (0-2) took the loss for London, lasting 3 2/3 innings while allowing seven hits and issuing four walks.
The Rascals take to the road for the first time this season when they begin a three-game set in Washington, Pa. against the WildThings starting Friday night at 6:05 CT. Preston Vancil takes the ball for River City in game one.
