River City Rascals News Release
O'Fallon, MO - The River City Rascals, presented by Progress West HealthCare Center, are looking to pack the park for the final six regular season home games at T.R. Hughes Ballpark as the Rascals make a strong push for the 2009 Frontier League playoffs. The Rascals also announce the first ever "Tenth Man, Super Fan" promotion.
Fans now have a chance to purchase box seat tickets for only five dollars to any of the remaining regular season home games. Remaining home games this season are August 28th, 29th, 30th and September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The five dollar price point represents a six dollar discount from the day of event price point. Fans that call the box office and refer to the promotional code "Charlie, The Rally Tortoise" will receive the six dollar discount on seats.
Rascals Executive Vice President and General Manager Chris Franklin encourages everyone to be part of an exciting time at the park. "Now's the time to come out and show your enthusiasm for this team whether you've been to all of the games this season or you're considering coming for the first time." "Our players and coaching staff have done a tremendous job all year long and it's time to rally behind them and show them our support."
The new "Tenth Man, Super Fan" promotion will reward the most enthusiastic fan during the final six game stretch. The winner must attend all six games and present a ticket stub from each game at the home finale on Thursday, September 3. Rascal's staff and personnel will vote and reveal the winner during the seventh inning stretch of the September 3rd game. The "Tenth Man, Super Fan" will win two, 10-game ticket packages for the 2010 season, two Rascals t-shirts, two Rascals hats, and two tickets to watch the Rascals play their final regular season game in Marion, IL when the Rascals take on the Southern Illinois Miners.
Rascal playoff tickets go on sale this Friday, August 28 at 8:30 am. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Rascals box office at (636) 240-2287.
