June 19, 2025 - Pioneer League (PL)
Ogden Raptors News Release
The Raptors came out swinging Thursday night and never let up, riding a six-run first frame to a dominant 13-5 win over the Idaho Falls Chukars, taking a 3-0 series lead.
Elliot Good led the offensive outburst, highlighted by a 4-for-6 night with three RBIs, including an RBI single and double in the first and third that helped set the tone. Carmine Lane added four hits and three RBIs of his own, while Chris Sargent continued his tear, tacking on two hits and three RBIs.
Ogden scored in six different innings, showcasing solid depth at every spot in the lineup. True Fontenot doubled to drive in two, and Kenny Oyama added a sac fly and an RBI single to add insurance for Raptor's pitchers.
Shane Gustafson gave the Raptors exactly what they needed on the mound, tossing five solid innings of two-run ball to earn the win. The bullpen quartet of McBride, Triplett, and Jones had no issues closing down the final four innings from there.
Now winners in three straight contests, the Raptors are rolling on the road with three games left in Idaho Falls before heading back to Lindquist Field.
Game 4 is Friday night at 7:05 PM as Ogden looks to clinch the series win. After that, they return home Tuesday, June 24, to kick off a six-game homestand against the Northern Colorado Owlz - starting with Canner's Cap Giveaway Night!
