Colorado Rapids News Release
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Monday, April 25, 2011) - The Colorado Rapids will focus this week on snapping a three-game losing streak after starting the season with three straight wins. On Saturday, April 30 they take on the Chicago Fire at 7:00 pm (MT) at Dick's Sporting Goods Park - their last home game until May 22.
The Fire are 1-3-2 in the 2011 season, and the Rapids are 8-3-5 all-time versus Chicago at home. Last season, 2-2 was the result of both meetings between Chicago and Colorado. A win on Saturday will be the second time the Rapids have reached 12 points in seven games, and will tie the 2002 season for the fastest they've reached 12 points in a season.
