The Ottawa native has rebounded recently from a slow start his season and this past week was dynamic scoring six goals with three assists and a +4 plus/minus rating. The Rush's Captain helped his team to a perfect 4-0 record keeping his team in the hunt in the Turner Conference.
The week began on Monday for the Rush in a game previously scheduled for Sunday. Wray scored the game's third goal in a 4-0 blowout win. He followed that up with a pair of goals in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over Dayton with both goals coming in the third period with the final score coming in the game's final minute.
Over the weekend, the 5-11, 198-pound forward scored three goals with three assists in Rapid City's pair of victories in Evansville over the IceMen (in first place at the time of both wins). Wray's big night came on Friday with a hat trick and an assist.
Wray is currently on a seven-game point streak with nine goals and three assists over that stretch. During his hot streak, Wray scored goals in six straight games (Jan. 21- Feb.3) setting the longest goal streak in the CHL this season.
Rapid City (24-14-3) currently sits in fourth place in the Turner Conference and are just one point behind third place Missouri who they play three times this week.
