
Rangers pound the Petes

Kitchener, ON: Kevin Henderson scored three goals tonight leading the Rangers to a 7-1 win tonight over the Peterborough Petes at The Aud.
The Rangers jumped all over Petes rookie goalie Jason Missiaen in the final two minutes of the period. Justin Azevedo (3), Kevin Henderson (4) and Brian Soso (2) all scored for the Rangers.
In the second period Kevin Henderson scored his second of the game at 4:48 to put the Rangers out in front 4-0. Nazem Kadri scored his second goal of the season at 5:43 to make it a 5-0 game. Yannick Weber notched his second of the season for a 6-0 lead after forty minutes.
The Petes finally solved John Murray at 3:45 of the third period to make it a 6-1 game. Henderson completed his hat trick at 19:28 to round out the win Rangers 7-1.
John Murray picked up his 6th win of the season stopping 20 of the 21 shots he faced.
The Rangers next home game is Friday, November 3rd against the London Knights. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
