
Owen Sound sneaks past Otters

Trevor Lewis scored a goal and added two assists to lead the Owen Sound Attack to a 4-3 win over the Erie Otters in an Ontario Hockey League game played tonight in front of 2,855 at the Tullio Arena. Bobby Ryan, Derek Brochu and Dalyn Flatt netted the other Attack goals as Owen Sound ended a three-game losing streak with the win. The Attack improved to 9-5-0-1. Andrew Hotham, Josh Vatri and Kelly Geoffrey replied for the Otters, who lost for the second straight time to sink to 3-10-0-2. The two teams were tied at three after the first. Owen Sound carried a 4-3 advantage into the third. The Attack out shot the Otters 37-21 as Jeff Dawson started and took the loss. The three stars of the game were 1. Lewis; 2. Geoffrey and 3. Ryan.
The two teams face one another again tomorrow (Saturday) night at the Tullio Arena in a 7:30 p.m. start. The game is sponsored by Emergycare with the first 1,000 children 12 and under receiving a pair of thunder sticks.
