Rangers Complete Trade with Greyhounds

Kitchener Rangers News Release

The Kitchener Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott announced today that the team has completed a trade with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. In the deal the Rangers acquired the Greyhounds Sixth Overall Selection in the 2009 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft and Sault Ste. Marie's 8th round pick in the 2012 Ontario Hockey League Draft. In return Kitchener sends the rights to T.J. Battani, the 9th overall pick in the 2009 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft and Kitchener's 3rd round selection in the 2012 Ontario Hockey League Draft.
