LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter today announced that the team has selected Defensemen Anton Klementyev and Kalle Ekelund in today's 2009 CHL Import Draft. Klementyev, 19 was the New York Islanders 5th Round Selection at the 2009 National Hockey League Draft. He stands 6.01 and weighs 200 pounds. He is a native of Togliatti, Russia. Ekelund, 18 is a native of Nybro, Sweden and played for his hometown Nybro, IF. He stands 6.03 and weighs 205 pounds.
Klementyev was drafted 58th Overall and Ekelund was the 63rd Overall pick in the 2009 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.
