Rangers Celebrate 50th Oktoberfest with Commemorative Jersey & Game

The Kitchener Rangers are pleased to celebrate 50 years of Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest through a Commemorative Jersey and Auction as well as game day celebrations including a ceremonial puck drop.
The Oktoberfest Game and Commemorative Jersey Auction will be held on Friday, October 5th when the Rangers host the Saginaw Spirit for a 7:30pm game.
The jersey features a crest detailing the founding date of Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest. In 1969, the civic festival that celebrates our local German Canadian heritage became an annual community event.
Proceeds from the Auction will go to Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest's beneficiaries and the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
The game-day silent auction will begin at 6pm through to post-game in the Wright Auto Sales Lounge of The Aud. A select number of these Kitchener Rangers jerseys will also be made available through an online auction at auction.chl.ca. The online auction will start at 12-noon on Friday, October 5th and run through to 12-noon on Sunday, October 14.
