Niagara IceDogs News Release
The Niagara IceDogs opened the season with a nail biting 8-6 win over Central Division rivals Mississauga Steelheads, on Sunday. The 'Dogs are back in action this week against some familiar divisional and playoff foes.
The IceDogs head to Peterborough Thursday night to face the Petes. Currently, the Petes are the only team in the OHL to have won both of their opening weekend games.
On Friday, the 'Dogs open their home schedule against the Kingston Frontenacs in what is expected to be an exciting game! Revive the Rose will be on the concourse for an intermission performance of their new song "Bar down", the official song of the Niagara IceDogs.
On Saturday, the IceDogs face the North Bay Battalion! Prior to our game, from 5:30-7:30pm, Goodwill Niagara will be at all Meridian Centre locations collecting donations. In exchange for each bag donated, fans will receive a $2 ticket voucher to our game on October 24th against the Peterborough Petes!
If you haven't yet secured your tickets to our Opening Weekend games, make sure you pick them up. You're not going to want to miss any minute of the season the 'Dogs were Born Ready for!
