Petes to Host Niagara and Hamilton in Weekend Home Stand

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes look to add to their 2-0 record with a pair of home games against Eastern Conference opponents this weekend.

On Thursday, September 27 at 7:05pm the Petes will host the Niagara IceDogs, who recently announced Petes alumnus and former head coach Jody Hull as an assistant coach. Thursday's game is sponsored by Cogeco, who will distributing 2018-19 magnet schedules to fans as they arrive at the PMC, while the Trent Future Vet Club will be hosting a chuck-a-puck fundraiser. Before the game, the Petes will present two lucky season ticket members with prizes awarded through the Pioneer Bonus Bucks program, including free gas for a year and a Petes VIP package.

On Saturday, September 29 at 7:05pm the reigning OHL Champion Hamilton Bulldogs will make their first appearance of the season. Petes goaltender Tye Austin is asking fans to take part in a chuck-a-puck at Saturday's game from which the proceeds will be donated to relief efforts in his hometown of Dunrobin (Ottawa). More details will be released on this initiative in the coming days.

Tickets for both games are available through the PMC Collins Barrow Box Office in person and over the phone Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and 24 hours a day online.
