The Oshawa Generals are proud to partner with Swiss Chalet to launch our first-annual Gens Reading Club. This season, The Oshawa Generals Hockey Club aims to promote reading by visiting various schools in the Durham Region. At the end of each visit, each student will receive an Oshawa Generals bookmark with a Swiss Chalet coupon attached. When Children read 5 books verified by the student's teacher, they will receive a free kids meal at participating Swiss Chalet Restaurants. The Gens will visit schools in the Durham Region every week on Tuesday's and Wednesday's to promote the program and partnership with Swiss Chalet Restaurants.

Today we kicked off our inaugural Gens Reading Club today at John XXII Catholic School, with Mario Peccia and Cole Resnick serving as the programs first special guest reader.
