The Kitchener Rangers have traded defenceman Joseph Rupoli to the Windsor Spitfires.

In exchange, the Rangers will receive:

Guelph's 12th round pick in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection

Originally a fifth-round pick of the Oshawa Generals in 2016, Rupoli recorded two points in 35 regular season games with Kitchener after being acquired in a trade with the Generals in January 2019.

"We would like to thank Joseph for his contributions to our team," said general manager Mike McKenzie. "His personality and work ethic will be missed but we wish him the best of luck in Windsor and life beyond the OHL."
