San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO - The Rampage came back from a 1-0 deficit to take the lead in the second period only to let it slip away in the third and relinquish a 4-2 win to the Milwaukee Admirals Wednesday night at the AT&T Center.

With just over a minute left in the opening period, Milwaukee's Jason Guerriero posted the first tally on the scoreboard when he tapped in a pass from Rich Peverley in front of the crease which beat Josh Tordjman to the right post.

The Rampage capitalized on their 11 shots in the second stanza and produced two goals. Bryan Helmer and Chris Ferraro assisted on both goals as Don MacLean sparked the Rampage rally nearly seven minutes in for his 12th goal of the season. Just under eight minutes later, Pascal Rheaume found a loose puck in front of the net and tipped it over the helmet of former Rampage goaltender, Karl Goehring, to go ahead 2-1.

However, Milwaukee owned the final period scoring three goals including a five-on-three power-play goal, a four-on-four even-strength goal and an empty-net goal.

The Rampage (14-22-1-1) play the Admirals on Friday at the AT&T Center at 7 p.m. when they host Faith Night featuring Houston-based Christian band Inhabited.
