Thursday, Jan. 29 vs. Binghamton Senators @ AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams in the Rampage's seven year history. Binghamton ranks fifth in the East Division with 52 points. Drew Fata, who started the year with the Rampage, will make his first trip back to the Alamo City.
Friday, Jan. 30 vs. Quad City Flames @ AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage currently own a 2-3-0-0 record against the Flames. The Rampage won the last contest Jan. 3 with a 4-3 victory.
Saturday, Jan. 31 vs. Worcester Sharks @ DCU Center, 6:05 p.m.
This will be the Rampage's first and only visit to Worcester this season. The Rampage hosted the San Jose Sharks' top affiliate Nov. 23 with a 3-1 loss. The Rampage are 1-2-1-1 against the Sharks lifetime.
SHOTS FROM THE POINT 08-09 TURN THE BEAT AROUND: The Rampage are 18-7-0-0 in their last 25 games averaging 2.72 goals per game. That's a big turnaround considering they were 2-20-0-1 in their first 23 games averaging 1.91 goals per game. ROAD RAGE: The Rampage set a new franchise record with five straight wins on the road (1/3-1/24). That includes back-to-back wins against the top two teams in the West Division. A 5-1 win over top-ranked Milwaukee on Friday and a 3-1 win over second-ranked Iowa (at the time) on Saturday. SPECIAL TEAMS REPORT: The Rampage lead the league in power-play percentage while on the road with a 24.8% success rate (25 ppg). In the past two games they tallied five power-play goals and two shorthanded goals. At home they rank second in the league in penalty killing percentage (89.6%) stopping 121 of 135 attempts.
HEY NOW, YOU'RE AN ALL-STAR: Rookie Brett MacLean will skate in the 2009 AHL All-Star game tonight for Team Canada. MacLean is the Rampage's only representative at the All-Star game and won the speed skating challenge at the Skills competition last night.
RODEO ROAD TRIP: The Rampage kick off their annual Rodeo road trip this Saturday. They will play 13 games in 25 days that includes visits to 12 different cities in eight separate states and spans 6,526 miles. The Rampage will return to the Alamo City Feb. 25.
