Rampage to Host Ninth Annual Pucks & Paws Game Sunday
March 16, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL)
San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage will host their ninth annual Pucks & Paws game, presented by Raising Cane's, on Sunday, March 20 when they host the Grand Rapids Griffins at 4 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
Fans are invited to enjoy the Rampage game with their four-legged friend. Tickets are $20, which gets a Rampage fan and their pet through the doors, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit San Antonio Pets Alive!.
All dogs must be on a leash, accompanied by an adult (one dog per person) and will be directed to enter through the Bud Light Courtyard on the west side of the arena. Water and relief stations will be located throughout the courtyard.
The first 1,000 dogs in attendance will receive a co-branded Rampage and Raising Cane's collapsible water bowl, and every pet parent who brings a four-legged friend will receive a complimentary box combo card good at any of Raising Cane's seven area San Antonio locations (not including San Antonio Airport, visit raisingcanes.com for locations).
"A big part of Raising Cane's mission is to support local communities, and providing animals with loving homes through organizations like San Antonio Pets Alive! is one of our most important goals," said Chantel Romero, Marketing Advisor for Raising Cane's in Central and South Texas. "We are hopeful that by working with the Rampage, we can help make San Antonio the country's largest no-kill city."
Dogs will be featured in various in-game elements, such as the ceremonial puck drop and Zamboni rides. There will also be an agility course in the Bud Light Courtyard where dogs of all breeds and ages can test their skills. Additionally, local rescue groups will be set up on the concourse at the AT&T Center with dogs and cats available for adoption for fans wishing to give a forever home to a furry friend.
The Rampage will also feature five dogs on sarampage.com and over each of the Rampage's social media channels throughout the week, giving fans a closer look at some of the pets that are ready to be adopted.
The Rampage head to California to take on the San Diego Gulls on Wednesday and the Ontario Reign on Friday. Season tickets for the 2016-17 campaign are on sale now. For more information, call a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 at sarampage.com.
