Rampage snap Flames' win streak

San Antonio snapped Quad City's three-game home ice winning streak on Saturday as the Rampage earned a 4-3 win at the i wireless Center. Jamie Lundmark recorded a goal and an assist in the loss. Anders Eriksson and Gord Baldwin also scored for the Flames.

The Rampage took a 2-0 lead on first period goals by David Spina and Garth Murray. Spina scored after bursting down left wing and cutting to the center of the ice. He beat Flames netminder Matt Keetley on a shot from between the circle for his eighth goal of the year. Garth Murray scored on the rebound from a Simon Ferguson shot with 3:46 left in the opening frame. The tally was Murray's seventh of the year and staked San Antonio to a 2-0 lead after one period.

Jamie Lundmark put the Flames on the goal by scoring on a goal-mouth scramble following a Quad City face-off win. It was Lundmark's tenth goal of they year with assists to Kyle Greentree and Carsen Germyn. The Rampage answered five minutes later when David Schlemko scored during a San Antonio power play. Schlemko netted his fourth marker of the year on a point shot with 13:07 expired in the middle frame to re-establish the Rampage's two-goal edge.

Anders Eriksson scored his second goal in as many nights at 8:07 of the third period to pull the Flames back to within a single goal. The Flames continued to carry action in the third and outshot the Rampage 14-8. But, Quad City could not net the equalizer before Jeff Hoggan scored his 14th goal of the year into an empty net with 36 seconds left. Gord Baldwin added a late tally for Quad City on a goal-mouth scramble. Baldwin's maker set the final at 4-3 in favor of the Rampage.

The Flames visit Bleacher Bums in Davenport on Monday night for another edition of the Budweiser Flames Forum. The show starts at 6:00 p.m. Scott Allen, Ryan Wilson, John Armstrong and J.D. Watt are this week's guests. Fans in attendance are eligible to receive prizes from Budweiser and the Flames. The show can also be heard on 93.9 FM WYEC.

The Flames are back on home ice on Friday vs. Toronto. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. It's John Deere Community Night as fans will receive $3.00 off the price of an adult walk-up ticket.
