Rampage Recall Angelo Esposito from Cincinnati

SAN ANTONIO (December 15, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled forward Angelo Esposito from their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones. In addition, the Rampage announced that they have reassigned forward David Marshall to their CHL affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.

Esposito, 22, has appeared in nine games with the Rampage this season contributing a goal and three assists. He was reassigned to Cincinnati on Dec. 8 and played in three games with the Cyclones posting one assist. He has skated in 79 career AHL games tallying four goals and 17 assists with Chicago (2007-11) and San Antonio (2011-12). The Montreal, Quebec native was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round (20th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Marshall, 26, has played in 18 games with the Rampage this season tallying four goals and two assists. The Buffalo, Minn. native has skated in six games with Rio Grande Valley this season posting five goals and three assists. His eight points ties him for third on the team and his five goals is second on the Killer Bees squad. Marshall has played in 85 career AHL games contributing 13 goals and 10 assists and appeared in 11 AHL playoff games last season with the Penguins.

The Rampage will host their 7th annual Teddy Bear Toss Night this Friday as they take on the Rochester Americans at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center. Fans are encouraged to throw a teddy bear onto the ice when the Rampage score their first goal in which all teddy bears collected will be donated to Toys for Tots and Christus Santa Rosa Hospital.
