Today's Game: Tonight's intra-divisional contest against the Chicago Wolves is the beginning of a four-game road trip for the San Antonio Rampage, who will travel to four cities (Chicago, Cincinnati, Grand Rapids and Milwaukee) in a week's span... The Rampage are T-4th in the West Division with five points (2-3-1-0 record) with Chicago (2-2-1-0; 5 pts.)...Tonight's contest is the seventh of nine contests in the month of October...Last season, the San Antonio finished the regular season with a 30-42-8-0 record (68 pts.), finishing sixth in the Western Conference...The Wolves finished 3rd in the West Division with a 42-26-9-3 record (96 pts.).

Against Chicago Wolves: Tonight's game is the first meeting (of 10) between the two clubs for the 2004-05 season...The Rampage went 2-5-3-0 against the Wolves at the Allstate Arena last season, with their last road win coming on Feb. 4, 2004 (4-3 win)...San Antonio scored 13 of their 26 goals against the Wolves in the first period last season, but were outscored 15-6 in the middle frame...Last season, the Rampage allowed 12 power-play goals in 43 advantages (27.9 %) while scoring three PPG's in 31 opportunities (9.7 %).

Miscellaneous Notes...

RARE GOAL ALLOWED: When Jiri Hudler scored 28 seconds into overtime last Sunday, he became the first player to score in overtime on the Rampage since their inaugural 2002-2003 season ....The last time an opponent won in overtime was April 10, 2003 at Norfolk in the playoffs. Prior to that, March 20, 2003 vs Houston in regular season and San Antonio has not lost in overtime on the road since November 30, 2002 at Cincinnati... The Rampage and Grand Rapids were the only two teams last year without an OTL.

VIEW TO A (PENALTY) KILL: The Rampage have not allowed power-play goal so far in the on the road this season (11-11; 100%), but teams should not be surprised as last year Steve Ludzik spearheaded the Florida Panthers' penalty kill unit which finished 2nd in the NHL (86.4%) behind Detroit (86.8).

THE WEST WING: Entering tonight's game, San Antonio has played 4 games against a team in the West Division. The Rampage, who are 2-1-1-0 against their division rivals, are slated to play 56 contests against their division foes this season. In addition, San Antonio will face two Atlantic Division opponents (HFD, WOR) totaling four games, one East Division opponent (NOR) for four games and five North Division opponents (EDM, MTB, CLE, ROC, SYR) totaling 16 games. The Rampage, were 21-32-7-0 in 60 games against West Division opponents last season.

Juraj Kolnik scored on the power play at 16:08 in the first period and later added a third period goal on a pass from Josh Olson that started the Rampage rally. Gregory Campbell tied the game with a wrap-around shot that beat Griffins goalie Joey MacDonald with 7:48 to play in the game, but Jiri Hudler's goal in overtime gave him a hat-trick.
