
Cail MacLean recalled from Reading, Barber assigned to Quad City

HERSHEY â The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that right wing Cail MacLean has been recalled from the Reading Royals (ECHL). In a corresponding roster move, the BEARS have assigned center Greg Barber to the Quad City Mallards (UHL). The roster moves today were announced by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
MacLean, who scored the first goal in GIANT Center history on October 19, 2002 against the Rochester Americans, was assigned to Reading on October 5. He was named HERSHEY'S unsung hero for the 2002-03 season, scoring 16 goals in 74 games. He is expected to attend practice at HERSHEYPARK Arena this morning and be available when the BEARS travel to Syracuse on Friday.
The BEARS play at Syracuse Friday night beginning at 7:30 p.m. Airtime on the BEARS radio network is at 7:10 p.m. HERSHEY hosts the Rochester Americans this Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. before welcoming the Norfolk Admirals back to town on Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. Tickets for both games this weekend are available by calling (717) 534-3911 or by visiting the GIANT Center box office.
