Rampage Drop 3-2 Decision to Heat

SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 10, 2015) - The San Antonio Rampage (11-7-6-0) had goals from Andrew Agozzino and Dennis Everberg, but fell to the Stockton Heat (7-8-0-2) 3-2 on Thursday night.

The Rampage struck early, as Andrew Agozzino finished off a Joey Hishon drop pass to give San Antonio a 1-0 lead. The assist was the 50th of Hishon's professional career.

The Heat answered less than a minute later when Bill Arnold backhanded the puck past Calvin Pickard to tie the game at one. Dennis Everberg tipped in a shot midway through the opening stanza, and the Rampage took a 2-1 lead into the first intermission.

Emile Poirier scored the equalizing goal at the 4:20 mark of the middle frame and notched his second of the contest just over a minute into the final stanza to secure a 3-2 win for the Heat.

Calvin Pickard finished with 39 saves, and the Rampage held Stockton scoreless on five opportunities with the man advantage.

Lineup Notes

With Patrick Bordeleau returning to the lineup, Borna Rendulic moved back up to the second line with Dennis Everberg and Colin Smith while Reid Petryk, who played on the second line Wednesday night, skated alongside Michael Schumacher and Sam Henley on the third line.
