WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that forward Matia Marcantuoni has been reassigned by Pittsburgh (NHL) to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).
Marcantuoni has appeared in five games with the Penguins this season and recorded one goal and two assists for three points.
The second-year pro and Woodridge, Ont. native has also earned three points (0G-3A) in four games with Wheeling this year.
