
Tampa Bay Lightning Reassign Andrei Vasilevskiy to Syracuse Crunch, Recall Kristers Gudlevskis

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League, Lightning vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced today. Additionally, the club announced they have recalled goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis from the Crunch.
Vasilevskiy, 21, has appeared in seven games with the Lightning this season, posting a 2-4-0 record to go along with a 2.76 goals-against average and .910 save percentage. The 6-foot-3, 212-pound goaltender has played in 23 career NHL games, all with the Lightning, over the past two seasons, registering a record of 9-9-0 to go along with a 2.47 goals-against average and .916 save percentage. Vasilevskiy also appeared in four Stanley Cup Playoff games with the Lightning last year, registering a 1-1 record.
Gudlevskis, 23, has appeared in one game with the Lightning this season, a 1-0 overtime loss against the Chicago Blackhawks on October 24 at United Center. The 6-foot-3, 218-pound goaltender was the game's third star, making 31 saves on 32 shots. He's played in two career NHL games, both with Tampa Bay, registering a 1.50 goals-against average and .957 save percentage.
