San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO (January 9, 2012) - The San Antonio Rampage will celebrate their 10th season this Saturday with a special game focused around the history and success of the American Hockey League (AHL) club as they host the Rockford IceHogs at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
In celebration of 10 years, all tickets for Jan. 14 will be $10 including lower level seating based on availability. Throughout the night we will celebrate Rampage history from the past decade with a video and photo montage of the team's success both on and off the ice. The first 5,000 fans will receive a commemorative trading card set that features 10 prominent Rampage players throughout the team's tenure.
Ten finalists will be revealed during the game to compete in T-Bone's 10-Year Tournament throughout the remainder of the season to win a pair of season tickets to Rampage games for the next 10 years. The finalists were randomly selected from a pool of applicants that applied in-game and online throughout the first part of the season. They will compete in a series of events including several in-game promotions, a fundraiser, scavenger hunt and trivia for 10 weeks with one participant being eliminated each week. The winner will be announced at the last regular season Rampage home game on Apr. 15.
The team will wear themed jerseys that feature the 10th anniversary logo on the chest and a display of the Florida Panthers and Phoenix Coyotes logos on the sleeves that is reflective of the Rampage's affiliation history. The jersey is primarily a royal blue color to signify the team's history with the Florida Panthers (2002-05; 2011-12) and the maroon trimming is indicative of the Rampage affiliation history with the Phoenix Coyotes (2005-11). The one-of-a-kind jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game with proceeds benefitting Silver & Black Give Back and the San Antonio Youth Hockey Foundation.
All tickets for this Saturday are $10 and can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210.444-5554 or online at sarampage.com.
