Syracuse, NY (January 9, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled defenseman Kyle Cumiskey. Additionally, the Ducks have reassigned goaltender Marco Cousineau from the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League (CHL) to the Crunch.
Cumiskey, 25, has played in 29 games for the Crunch this season recording 14 points (2g, 12a). Cumiskey has played in 132 career NHL games with Colorado totaling 35 points (9g, 26a). Originally drafted by Colorado in the seventh round, 22nd overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Cumiskey was acquired by the Ducks in October in exchange for Jake Newton and a seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch travel to Binghamton to face the defending Calder Cup Champion Senators on January 13. They return home on January 20, 2012 to host the Norfolk Admirals at the War Memorial Arena.
