PEORIA, Ill. - Peoria netminder Jake Allen stopped all 28 Rampage shot attempts as San Antonio fell 2-0 to the Rivermen on Saturday night at Carver Arena. The Rampage claim a 38-29-3-2 record good for 81 points in a tight West Division race.

After a scoreless first period, the Rivermen were the first to score when center Nicholas Drazenovic was able to pick up the rebound in the slot on Derek Nesbitt's shot for his 17th goal of the season at the 8:07 mark of the second period.

During the third period, the Rampage outshot the Rivermen 11-4 and with 48 seconds remaining in regulation, San Antonio head coach Ray Edwards pulled Climie in favor of a sixth attacker. However, Peoria took advantage of the situation as center Dave Scatchard scored on the empty net to finalize the victory at 2-0.

Climie made 23 saves on 24 Rivermen shot attempts while Allen earned the first star of the game with his sixth shutout of the season.

The Rampage return to the ice tomorrow afternoon when they continue with a three-in-three series this weekend against the Milwaukee Admirals at 5 p.m. at the Bradley Center.
