SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 11, 2015) - The San Antonio Rampage (21-13-3-0) were shut out by the Toronto Marlies (16-15-6-0) 3-0 in front of 4,283 on Sunday at the AT&T Center.
Brandon Kozun scored the game-winning goal for the Marlies, and Carter Ashton buried two empty-net goals to account for the 3-0 score. Michael Houser finished with 33 saves on 34 shots in his 12th start of the season
The teams were scoreless through the first two periods, the first time this season San Antonio has entered the third stanza scoreless. At the 10:49 mark of the final frame, Kozun punched in a rebound off Kevin Marshall's shot to give the Marlies a 1-0 lead.
Ashton's two empty-net goals came in the last 1:04 of regulation to seal a 3-0 win for the Marlies and give Toronto a 3-1 advantage in the season series.

LINEUP NOTES
With newly-acquired forward Corban Knight out with the flu, John McFarland entered the lineup after missing 26 games with an injury. He played on San Antonio's fourth line with Wade Megan and Joe Basaraba. Rocco Grimaldi slotted into the Rampage's second line with Mark Mancari and Connor Brickley. Michael Houser made his 12th start in net.
