
Marlies Continue to Roll, Blank Rampage 3-0

The Toronto Marlies pushed their point streak to nine games with a 3-0 blanking of the San Antonio Rampage this afternoon. In a game that was slow to see offence, the Marlies would score three in the third, including two empty netters from Carter Ashton. The game winner was scored by Brandon Kozun midway through the third; Kozun would also assist on both Ashton goals earning three points and the games second star. Antoine Bibeau made 30 saves to record his 4th shutout of the season, tying James Reimer for fourth on the Marlies all-time list.
Toronto is back in action Thursday when they continue their road trip in Charlotte for a match-up with the Checkers, AHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes.
