
Rampage announce transactions

SAN ANTONIO - Feb. 21, 2005 - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that the club has recalled right wing Rob Globke, defenseman Jeff Brown and goaltender Patrick DesRochers from the Texas Wildcatters of the ECHL. At the same time, the Rampage reassigned defenseman Grant McNeill and goaltender Phil Osaer to the Rampage ECHL affiliate and defenseman Dion Hyman and center Scott Kelman to the Laredo Bucks, the club's Central Hockey League affiliate.
Globke, 22, has scored 12 points, including eight goals, in 10 games with the Wildcatters since being assigned on Jan. 27. The rookie has compiled two goals and four assists for six points in 41 games with the Rampage this season.
The 26-year-old Brown has recorded two points (0-2-2) in 35 games with San Antonio this season, while registering a plus-7 rating.
DesRochers, 25, has recorded a 7-12-1 record with a 2.68 goals against average with the Rampage this season.
The Rampage (23-29-2-4) finish their 12-game, 29-day road trip when they travel to Hartford (Feb. 23), Worcester (Feb. 24) and Grand Rapids (Feb. 26) this week before hosting the Houston Aeros at the SBC Center on Sunday, Feb. 27. The Rampage are 4-5-0-0 through their first nine games of the road trip. All regular season games can be heard on the Rampage's flagship station "The Ticket" 760 AM (subject to conflicts).
