--- The Wolves grabbed the lead early in the third period and held on to defeat the Houston Aeros, 2-1, at the Toyota Center
--- Forwards LONNY BOHONOS and J.P. VIGIER each collected a goal and an assist

--- After the first period, the Wolves trailed, 4-3, and never recovered as they fell, 5-4, to the Houston Aeros at the Toyota Center

--- KARI LEHTONEN: Posted the win on Saturday in his first start since Feb. 4 ... Ranks third in the league with 24 wins in 41 games this season after recording 20 wins in 39 games last year ... Appeared in a career-high 45 regular-season games for Jokerit-Helsinki of the Finnish Elite League in 2002-03 ... Ranks third in the AHL with 2,413:26 minutes played and 1,197 saves

--- MICHAEL GARNETT: Started a season-high five consecutive games from Feb. 5 to 18 ... Ranks fifth among league goaltenders with an .889 shootout save percentage ... Posted a 6-5-0 mark this season after notching a 7-3-2 record last year


--- CORY LAROSE: Held scoreless on Saturday after recording a point in each of his previous four games ... Paces the club with 10 power-play goals ... NOTABLE

The Wolves will host Chicago's Department of Animal Care and Control Adopt-a-Dog Program sponsored by PETsMART at the Allstate Arena on Sat., Feb. 26, when they face the Utah Grizzlies at 7 p.m. The game marks the fifth of at least seven visits this season. The Wolves have helped find homes for more than 300 dogs the last four seasons.
