Rampage Adjust Training Camp Roster

SAN ANTONIO (September 25, 2009) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that they have released six players from training camp. The Phoenix Coyotes announced on Thursday that they have assigned five players to the Rampage.

The Rampage have 38 players remaining on their training camp roster and released defensemen Kyle Deck, Kyle Hagel, and AJ Thelen and forwards Matthew Kang, Ryan Weston, and Brett Wilson from training camp today.

The Phoenix Coyotes have assigned the following five players to Rampage training camp:

Goaltender:

Al Montoya

Defenseman:

Shaun Heshka

Forwards:

Jeff Hoggan

Joel Perrault

David Spina

The Rampage are in the midst of their preseason schedule after hosting the Texas Stars with a 2-1 loss to the newest AHL team based in Austin at Northwoods Ice Center on Thursday.

The Rampage continue the preseason with a pair of road games starting in Houston Saturday, Sept. 26 for an exhibition game against the Aeros at 6 p.m. at Sugarland Ice and Sports Center. On Sunday, Sept. 27, the Rampage will make their first trip to Austin as the Texas Stars host a 3 p.m. game in their new arena, Cedar Park Center, to round out the Rampage's preseason game schedule.
