Rampage Acquire Keefe From Grand Rapids

SAN ANTONIO (January 28, 2008) -- The San Antonio Rampage acquired right wing Adam Keefe today after their parent club, the Phoenix Coyotes, loaned center Tyler Redenbach to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League (AHL) for the remainder of the season.

Keefe, 23, has recorded one goal and 124 penalty minutes--13th most in the AHL--in 32 games with Grand Rapids. The Brampton, Ontario native has 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists) and 346 penalty minutes (PIM) in 69 AHL games over three years.

The 23-year-old Redenbach had one assist in six games with the Rampage this season. He also has played 31 games this season with the Rampage's Central Hockey League affiliate, the Arizona Sundogs, and ranks second on the team and league in scoring with 66 points (18g, 48a). Redenbach was drafted by Phoenix in the third round (77th overall) in the 2003 Entry Draft.
