July 23, 2019 - Southern League (SL1)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
Thirteen times the Lookouts struck out with five of them looking in their 1-0 loss to the Barons. The Lookouts rallied with three hits in the fourth inning for a chance to grab the lead but fell short leaving the bases loaded and never recovered. The Barons meanwhile drove in their only run in the sixth inning off reliever Todd Boyles after Scott Moss had tired allowing two hits before that. In the eighth and ninth innings the Looks had the chance to tie or take the lead but struck out instead to end the game. Former Lookout Matt Tomshaw got the win while Scott Moss took the loss. In game three the Lookout face LHP-John Parke(2-0,2.67) while they send LHP-Pcky Naughton(4-7,3.34) to the mound for the 8:05 EDT contest. Hear the game on 98,1 The Lake and at MiLB.com beginning at 7:50 EDT.
