
Rain Suspends Grizzlies and Crushers Series Opener

AVON, OH - The Gateway Grizzlies and Lake Erie Crushers had their series opener Tuesday night suspended due to rain at All Pro Freight Stadium.
The game will resume Wednesday as part of a doubleheader with game one beginning at 4:00 CST.
The game is currently tied 2-2 in the top of the third inning with two outs. Landon Hernandez is on first base after his one-out single and Ben Waldrip will be the batter when play resumes Wednesday.
Gateway scored two runs on a TJ Bennett double in the first inning and Emmanuel Quiles hit a two-run double with two outs in the second inning for Lake Erie.
Game one will be a nine-inning game Wednesday while game two will be a seven-inning game.
