Rain Suspends Ducks' 2-0, 1-Inning Lead in Harrisburg

Rain suspended Saturday's game in Harrisburg between the RubberDucks and Senators at FNB Field. The game will be resumed, with Akron leading 2-0 to start the top of the second inning, on Sunday at noon EDT.

Akron gained the 2-0 lead with center fielder Will Benson's leadoff home run - the first by a RubberDuck this season - and a sacrifice fly by right fielder Richie Palacios. Right-hander Thomas Ponticelli struck out two batters in a perfect bottom of the first inning before play was suspended.

On the Pond

After Saturday's suspended game is completed (nine innings regulation), the teams will conclude their series with a seven-inning game. Akron LHP Tanner Tully (3-3, 3.92 ERA) scheduled to face Senators RHP Cade Cavalli (0-2, 3.80 ERA).
