Rain Gets the Best of the Huskies and the Larks

What looked like a beautiful night for baseball quickly turned into another stormy night for the Duluth Huskies. Heavy rain and lightning formed around the ballpark midway through the second inning that would lead to a delay and eventually a suspension of the game.
The Huskies and Larks were tied at four during the bottom of the second inning when the game was sent into a delay. The Larks were batting with the bases loaded and one out when the teams were called in.
Duluth and Bismarck will play a doubleheader on Friday as a result as Thursday's game will resume at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The original game scheduled Friday between the Huskies and Larks at 7:35 will still be played according to schedule.
