RailRiders Edge Indians to Take Game Two of Series

MOOSIC - Pa. -- The Indianapolis Indians found themselves in another one-run contest on Saturday afternoon, but unfortunately the Tribe fell short of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, 2-1. Indianapolis tied the game at one in the fourth, but a lead-off walk came around to score for the RailRiders in the sixth for the decisive run.

The sixth started when Slade Heathcott drew a lead-off walk for the RailRiders (15-15), and he advanced to third on a single by Ramon Flores, and then scored when Tyler Austin grounded into a double play.

The lone run for the Tribe (17-13) scored in the fourth when Deibinson Romero singled home Jose Tabata. At the time it tied the game, but the Indians did not see a lead in the contest.

Of the 30 games played for the Indians (17-13), 16 have been one-run affairs. They now own a 9-7 record in one-run games. Casey Sadler (2-2) took the loss despite tossing seven quality innings.
