Durham Bulls News Release
Durham Bulls (18-11) @ Syracuse Chiefs (11-17); 1:05 p.m.
LHP Scott Diamond (3-0, 1.67) vs. RHP Taylor Hill (2-1, 3.81)
The Bulls play game two of a three-game set - and six-game road trip - against the Syracuse Chiefs at NBT Bank Stadium. Durham has won a season-high five games in a row, and is 15-5 over its past 20 games, after opening the season just 3-6 - the worst nine-game start in the franchise's 18-year Triple-A history. The Bulls enter today's game in sole possession of first place in the IL South, tied with Pawtucket for the best record in the IL, and seven games above .500, a first for the 2015 season. Syracuse - the Washington Nationals' top affiliate - is 4-3 over its last seven games, and is trying to dig itself out of a 6-13 start to the season.
