St. Paul, MN - Cristian Guerrero hit a three-run home run in support of Alain Quijano's return from the disabled list as the RailCats held on late to a 6-3 victory over the St. Paul Saints. With the win the RailCats (53-39) swept the Saints (45-48) and kept a one a half game lead in the wild card chase with Winnipeg's victory.
The Saints jumped on the board first with an RBI single by Brian Burgamy in the first inning. Alain Quijano avoided further damage in the inning by getting Joey Becker to ground into a double play to end the inning. It was 1-0 Saints after one inning.
In the fourth, the RailCats tied the game. Reid Fronk singled to begin the inning and moved to third on Craig Maddox's base hit to left. Cristian Guerrero then reached on a throwing error by Trevor Hairgrove to tie the game. The RailCats stranded the bases loaded in the inning.
The RailCats finally got a big swing from Cristian Guerrero in the fifth inning. With runners on the corners and two out, Guerrero hit a line drive three-run to left-center to take a 4-1 lead. It was Guerrero's fourth homer of the year and just the 17th by the 'Cats this season.
Saints starter Billy Soule was removed after five innings. He allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks as he took his third loss of the season. Soule didn't strike out a batter in his second start of the season against the RailCats.
The RailCats scored for their third consecutive inning in the sixth when Danny Pulfer led off the inning with an infield single. Reliever Kyle Morrison threw away a pick off attempt and Pulfer went all the way to third and scored on Adam Klein's sacrifice fly to right to make it 5-1 RailCats.

In the bottom of the inning, Adam Frost cut the Saints deficit to 6-3 with a two-run home run off of Estevan Uriegas. It was the second home run allowed by Uriegas during the series.
Twice after Frost's home run, Kyle Lindquist faced the tying run at the plate and both times was able to retire the batter. In the seventh he struck out Joey Becker looking and in the eighth got Adam Frost to fly out to left.
Ian Durham allowed the first two hitters in the ninth inning to reach and Brian Burgamy nearly tied the game with a three-run homer down the line that curled foul at the last moment. Durham came back to retire the side without a run crossing to earn his seventh save of the year.
